Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 3 August 2026

The short version. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we write or which position we take.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link carries a tracking code. If you click it and then purchase a product or service, the merchant pays us a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be without the link.

Programmes we participate in

  • Counselling and consultation services. We may earn a referral fee when readers book a session with a partner practitioner.
  • Books and digital resources. Recommended reading may carry affiliate tracking.

How we choose what to recommend

  • We only link to things we believe are genuinely relevant to the article's topic.
  • A higher commission never buys a better placement or a kinder description.
  • We do not accept payment to include a product in an article.
  • If we would not recommend something to a friend in the same situation, it does not go on the page.

How affiliate links are marked

Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page markup as required by Google's link-spam guidelines, and articles containing them display a visible disclosure near the relevant section — not buried at the bottom.

Astrology and spiritual services — an important caveat

Where we link to astrological consultations, remedies, or related services, please read our Disclaimer first. Astrology is a traditional belief system, not science. We make no guarantee that any consultation or remedy will change your relationship, health, finances, or legal outcome. Never substitute such a service for qualified legal, medical or psychological help.

Regulatory compliance

This disclosure is made in line with the US FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255) and India's Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisements and Endorsements (CCPA, 2022) and ASCI Influencer Guidelines.
